Ledgerly's founders had a working invoicing engine — a backend script that could generate an invoice correctly. What they didn't have was any way for a customer to use it without emailing a CSV back and forth.

The problem
The logic worked. The product didn't exist yet.
Every invoice meant a founder running a script locally and exporting a CSV by hand. There was no dashboard, no client-facing view, and no way to onboard a second employee without walking them through the terminal.
The approach
The backend became a product.

- Client-facing invoicing with recurring billing built in
- Permission-based team access, so new hires don't need terminal access
- A public-facing site explaining the product to first-time visitors
